Elopements and engagements · photo + film
Get engaged here. Get married here. I shoot both.
You picked Vegas because it is fast, fun and a little unhinged. I shoot elopements the way I would want mine shot: photo and film together, no stiff posing, your vows on real audio so you can actually hear what you said. Not married yet? Engagement sessions run on the same setup, same camera, same edit.
Founding couples · ten slots
Be in the first ten.
The Las Vegas portfolio is new here, so the first ten engagement sessions run $400 instead of $460, and the ceremony or wedding they book for photo or video comes in 15% under the rate card. Ten slots, no countdown clock.
Two ways in. Three, if you get in first.
Same camera, same edit. One of them has a ceremony in it.
Engagement session
$46090 minutes
No ceremony, no timeline, no license. Two people, one location, at least 60 edited frames. The first ten couples pay $400 and take 15% off a later ceremony.

Check your date

Red rock, neon, and the dark in between.
Married in Vegas, photographed like it mattered.
Most Vegas elopement coverage is one photographer with one lens and a song over the edit. This is not that.
Photo and film in one invoice
One shoot, one crew, nothing to coordinate between vendors who have never met.
Your vows, recorded
Lav audio on photo and film packages, so the film has your words in it, not just a song over slow motion.
A reel in 48 hours
Post it before you have unpacked.
Strip to desert in one day
Chapel, neon, red rock. Most photographers pick one location. The route gets planned.
Film-camera soul
Weddings shot on 8mm Kodak Ektachrome. Ask for a roll.
Two of us, every time
A photo assistant comes with every elopement, so you are never watching one person try to be in two places. A second shooter is available as an add-on if you want a second angle on the ceremony while the first keeps moving.

Where to elope
Vegas is not one place. The route is part of the service.
Chapels, on and off the Strip
Classic, quick, and the chapel usually handles the paperwork.
The Neon Museum
Vintage signs at golden hour or after dark. Ceremonies book through the museum; officiants are not allowed during Photo Hours.
Downtown and Fremont
Lights, noise, energy, and the best people-watching backdrop in the country.
Red Rock Canyon
Four designated wedding sites, including Red Spring Boardwalk and Ash Spring in Calico Basin.
Valley of Fire
Red stone and big skies, about an hour out. Closed part of December.
Water and mountains
Lake Mead, Lake Las Vegas, Mt Charleston. Water, mountains, or pine forest.
After dark
Astrophotography is the background. If you want the Milky Way over the desert on your wedding night, ask.
Your own idea
A dry lake bed, a parking garage at 2am, the place you actually met. Route gets planned around it.
Frequently asked questions
How do we get a marriage license in Las Vegas?
Go to the Clark County Marriage License Bureau at 201 E. Clark Ave. It's open 7 days a week, 8 a.m. to midnight, including holidays. Fill out the online pre-application first, bring ID, and issuance takes about 15 minutes. No appointment needed. (Clark County Clerk)
How much is a Nevada marriage license?
$102. Cards are accepted with a fee; no checks. (Clark County Clerk fees)
Is there a waiting period?
Do we need a witness?
Yes. Nevada requires at least one witness besides the officiant (NRS 122.110). I cannot be the witness and shoot at the same time, so bring a friend, or ask your chapel to provide one. If you are traveling with nobody, say so when you book and the chapel or I will line someone up.
Do we need an officiant?
Yes. Options: a chapel officiant, a civil ceremony at the Office of Civil Marriages (330 S. 3rd St, by appointment, $75), or a friend with a one-day officiant authorization ($55 in Clark County, apply 30 days to 3 months ahead). (Clark County officiants)
Do we need a permit to elope at Red Rock or Valley of Fire?
Usually yes. Red Rock weddings need a BLM Special Recreation Permit (minimum $345 when a paid photographer or officiant is involved, filed 30 to 180 days ahead). Valley of Fire photo permits need 30 days' notice. We'll walk you through it. (BLM, NV State Parks)
Can we do the Welcome to Las Vegas sign?
Yes, with a Clark County permit (10 days' notice, $45 processing fee, 30-minute limit). Plan ahead or let us build it into a 2-hour package.
How far ahead should we book?
As little as 48 hours out, with a deposit paid up front. Short notice changes what is possible rather than closing the door: if a location needs a permit that cannot be issued in that window, you get a list of places that need no permit and still look like the desert shot you wanted.
Can you do same-day or next-week elopements?
Yes. Anything inside 48 hours is a rush booking and adds 45% to the package price, paid in full to hold the date. Deliverables move with it: the gallery and the film come back on a rush schedule instead of the standard turnaround.
Wedding license, permits, weather. All handled in the plan.
Nevada license, Clark County permits, Red Rock and Valley of Fire rules, sunset times, and what happens if the wind picks up. You show up, I have the rest.
