Privacy Policy

Effective 3 November 2026. Last updated 3 November 2026.

dresticHaus LLC is a photo and film studio based in Las Vegas, Nevada. This policy explains what this website collects, why, and what you can do about it. Short version: I collect what I need to answer you, shoot your job, deliver your files and get paid, and nothing else.

Who handles your data

dresticHaus LLC, Las Vegas, Nevada. Email andres@drestichaus.com for anything in this policy. One person answers it, and that person is me.

What this website collects

When you use the contact form or email me. Your name, email address, phone number if you give one, and whatever you write about the date, the venue and the job. That is the inquiry record. It exists so I can quote you and so I can find the thread in six months when you come back.

When you book. Contract details, billing name and address, tax information where required, and notes about access, permits and run of show. Signed contracts are stored with the job.

When you pay a deposit. Payments run through Stripe. Stripe receives your name, email, billing address and card details, and processes them as the payment processor. Card numbers never reach this website or my records. I see the amount, the last four digits, the brand and whether it went through. Stripe's own privacy policy governs what Stripe does with that data.

When you receive photographs. The images themselves, plus the email address the gallery is sent to. Galleries are hosted with a third-party delivery platform, and they are online for the period stated in your contract.

When you just browse. Pages requested, referring page, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device type, and session duration. No advertising profiles, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting.

Cookies and local storage

Two small things, and neither one follows you around the internet.

  • A theme preference. Your light or dark choice is stored in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.
  • Analytics cookies. Google Analytics 4 sets cookies to count visits and understand which pages and services people actually look at. IP anonymization is on, Google Signals is off, ad personalization is off, and no analytics data is used to build advertising audiences. Cloudflare Web Analytics runs as well, and it is cookieless.

You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time and the site still works. If you want to opt out of Google Analytics across every site, Google publishes a browser add-on for that.

Why I use it

  • To answer your inquiry and quote your job.
  • To photograph, edit, deliver and archive your work.
  • To invoice you and keep accounting and tax records.
  • To understand which pages help people and which ones do not.
  • To meet legal, insurance and contract obligations.

I do not sell your data, I do not share it with advertisers, and I do not send marketing email unless you ask for it.

Who sees it

  • Stripe for payments and deposits.
  • Google for Analytics, and for email if the thread runs through Gmail.
  • Cloudflare for hosting, DNS, security and cookieless analytics.
  • The gallery platform that hosts and delivers your photographs.
  • My accountant and, if a job goes wrong, my insurer or lawyer, limited to what each of them needs.
  • A court or regulator, if one compels it.

Nothing else, and nobody gets the whole picture for marketing.

How long it stays

  • Inquiries that do not become jobs: about 24 months, then deleted.
  • Contracts, invoices and payment records: 7 years, because tax and liability both outlast the shoot.
  • Delivered galleries: the window stated in your contract, usually 12 months online, with the archive kept longer on encrypted storage.
  • Analytics data: 14 months in Google Analytics, then it ages out.

Your rights

Wherever you live, email me and I will do the following within 30 days: tell you what I hold about you, correct it, delete it where I am not required to keep it, or send you a copy in a portable format. Nevada residents have the right to ask what is collected and to opt out of any sale of personal information, and there is no sale to opt out of. California residents have the rights under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct and limit the use of sensitive information. If you are in the UK or EU, the GDPR gives you the same core rights plus the right to object to processing and to complain to a supervisory authority.

Photos are a special case. A photograph of you can also be personal data, but the client contract, the release you sign on the day, and the copyright in the image all sit separately from this policy. Ask me if you want an image removed from the portfolio, and I will act on it.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 16 and I do not knowingly collect their data. If a minor is part of a shoot, the release is signed by a parent or guardian.

Security

Payment data is handled by Stripe and never stored here. Files are backed up in more than one place. Access to client records is limited to me. No system is perfect, and if a breach ever affects your data I will tell you directly and quickly.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and, for anything significant, the people with active jobs get an email.
