What a Las Vegas elopement costs in 2026
A Las Vegas elopement can be a courthouse ceremony and an hour of photographs, or a full route from chapel to neon to desert. The honest total depends on the ceremony, location rules, photography and film, and how much of the day you want covered. Marriage license and officiant
- Clark County marriage license: $102. Cards carry a fee; checks are not accepted.
- Civil ceremony at the Office of Civil Marriages: $75, by appointment.
- One-day officiant authorization for a friend: $55 in Clark County, applied for 30 days to 3 months ahead.
There is no waiting period. The license is valid for one year. Nevada requires at least one witness besides the officiant. Your photographer cannot be that witness and shoot at the same time, so bring a friend or ask the chapel.
Location fees and permits
- Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign commercial still permit: $45 processing fee, 10 calendar days' notice, 30-minute limit.
- Neon Museum Photo Hour: $75 per adult, or $50 for Nevada residents. Everyone needs a ticket, including the photographers. Private personal-use shoots start at $400.
- Red Rock Canyon wedding Special Recreation Permit: minimum $345 when a paid photographer or officiant is involved, filed 30 to 180 days ahead.
- Valley of Fire commercial photo permit: $50/day plus a $25 application fee and vehicle entry, with 30 days' notice.
- Downtown Las Vegas film permit: no permit fee, with insurance and 5 working days' notice.
Venue, chapel, transportation and entry charges vary, and they are paid to the venue rather than the studio. Where a venue publishes a fee, it is quoted for your actual date before anything is booked.

Photography packages include at least 75 edited frames at one hour, 150 at two, 250 at four, delivered in an online gallery. Add an extra hour at $350. An engagement session is $460, at least 60 edited frames. Super 8 or 35mm film is an add-on priced per roll, subject to the market price of film.
